This is a nice U.S Goverment Inspected, Colt 1860 Army. It is Cal. 44. Percussion. Serial# 9940. Barrel is . 8" with blade front sight & New York address. 6 Shot "fluted" un-numbered replacement cylinder., that matches the age of the rest of the gun in appearance. Action is cut for shoulder stock attachment. Brass trigger guard. Barrel., frame, grip, grip straps, arbor, & wedge have matching numbers. Barrell. has "H" & "T" inspectors marks. 1 Piece walnut grip. 1861 Mfg. This is in very good used condition. The metal has mottled gray brown appearance showing some touch up finish. Brass has light patina. Grips show wear & handling marks. Good mechanics. Bore retains lightly worn rifling w/ scattered spots of pitting. Buyer pays $20.00 shipping to the lower 48 states.
