Description:
This is a much better than average conversion Sharps carbine in 50-70 caliber. The bore is very good with some light oxidation in front of the chamber. The three grove rifling is strong and sharp. The wood is very nice with the minimum of dings and scratches. There is a strong cartouche on the upper left side of the wrist of the stock. The forearm has a noticeable ding behind the barrel band and likewise on the left side of the stock .All stamping on the frame are strong and the markings on the barrel are light, but readable.
This is an antique, so no paperwork is required.
