Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: For sale, a beautiful Cimarron Chiappa Model 1892 Solid-Frame Lever-Action Rifle in .45 Long Colt in minty, like-new condition.  This beautiful recreation of the legendary Winchester 1892 features a solid frame, a 20" inch octagon barrel, iron sights consisting of a front blade and "Buckhorn" style rear with an elevator, a smooth Walnut stock set with a semi-gloss oil finish, a factory high-gloss blue finish on the barrel, loading gate, and magazine tube, and a color case-hardened finish on the receiver, lever(both levers), hammer, trigger, and stock fittings.  This lever-action repeater holds 10 rounds of .45 Long Colt in the under-barrel mounted magazine tube and is built just like the original with no unsightly cross-bar safety.  For carrying one in the chamber the hammer has a half-cock "safety" position that will not drop if the trigger is pulled when in this position.  The factory high gloss blue finish is spectacular, with a superb and thorough polish underneath.  The case colors on the receiver and various small parts are stunning, showing lots of bright and contrasting color on every inch.  Both the color case-hardened forend cap on the forearm and the crescent-style buttplate on the buttstock really add a nice touch to the high-end look of this smooth Walnut stock set.  Rather than apply a thick gloss clearcoat to the wood the Walnut is finished with a hand-rubbed oil finish that gives the wood the perfect amount of shine without looking artificial.  You can really tell that Cimarron spent all the time necessary to make this Italian Chiappa-built Winchester 92 first class firearm.  The action on this 1892 is butter-smooth and very precise.  The bolt slides in and out of battery with ease, and the locking lugs engage without any grit or slop.  When in battery the lever rides nice and tight to the lower tang without any droop.  As mentioned before, this particular example is technically used but appears to be like-new and unfired.  There is zero evidence of the rifle having been fired since leaving the factory, nor is there any markings on the loading gate from loading the magazine.  The only thing the original owner did to this rifle was order the additional factory large-loop lever and install it, the rest of the rifle is untouched.  The original standard sized loop can be easily installed back in and is included in the box.  The factory finishes on this Cimarron all rate 99% plus.  There is no visible finish wear or imperfections of any kind on any of the metal parts.  All of the factory stampings are crisp and clean.  The bore is mirror-bright and pristine with perfect, sharp rifling throughout the barrel.  The stock set also appears like-new, with no visible dents, dings, handling marks, or wear of any kind.  It comes 100% complete with everything it shipped from the factory with including the original box with an intact end label serial numbered to the gun, all of the pamphlets and owner's manual, the clear plastic shipping bag, and the original standard-sized lever.  If you have been looking for an especially handsome collector-quality Winchester 92 reproduction for your collection this 2009-production Cimarron Chiappa '92 would be a superb choice.  This Cimarron Chiappa 1892 is as good as it gets for a modern-made '92 clone.             SOLD Rifle Caliber: .45 Colt Handgun Caliber: .45 Colt Manufacturer: Cimarron Firearms Co. / Chiappa (Italy) Model: Model 1892 (Solid Frame) Serial Number: T5097 Barrel Length: 20" Inches Condition: Excellent Metal Condition: Excellent Wood Condition: Excellent Bore Condition: Minty Barrel Type: Octagon Action: Lever Action Repeater LOP: 13" Inches Finish: Gloss Blue / Color Case-Hardened Sights: Iron Front Blade and Buckhorn Rear w/ Elevator Manufacture Date: 2009 Extras: Large and Regular Factory Loop, Original Box, Shipping Bag, and Manuals/Pamphlets
