Description:
This pistol was manufactured in 1943 by the German occupiers of Belgium during WWII. Of note is the fact that virtually all of the Nazi mrkings are clear and plainly visible, except for a partial marking of WaA140 at the muzzle that is a only a bit weaker than the markings on the slide, frame, and barrel, being vivid and clear in their detail. The pistol was manufactured at Fabrique Nationale, in Herstal, Belgium, that had been commandeered in 1940 by the invading German Army. It is a mid-WWII-manufactured pistol with a post front sight and a notched rear sight. It has good condition walnut grips and is in overall very good conditon on all metal parts and in the bore. The metal retains at least 90% of its original finish, unusual for this era of manufacture at FN. There are two 13-round magazines, one of which is an earlier split-type, marked WaA613, and the other is split-type with only a C in a circle as a marking..The accompanying holster is unmarked, except for the three-pronged imprint of where the Nazi eagle pin was affixed, which serves to identify the holster as German-used. Please view all of the photos, as they are part of the description. FFL required. I cannot ship to California, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Hawaii of Alaska, or any other state thate has enacted draconian and anti-gun legislation. Magazines are also prohibited in the named states and others, so please know the laws in your state before committing to purchase these items. Buyer to pay shipping as well as insurance if desired. As always, it is highly recommended that used guns be inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing. Thanks for looking.
