Description:
Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 Varmint Model in caliber .243 Win., maufactured in 1957. The metal and wood finishes are all factory original and remain in approximately 98% condition. The bore is excellent, and it appears to have seen little use overall. Please study the detailed photos closely for a better description of the condition.
It features the correct 26" stainless steel barrel (the barrel is factory iron plated and browned--in hand the appearance closely matches the finish on the receiver, even though the photos may cause it to look otherwise) and factory Unertl style scope blocks. The bolt is scribed with a matching serial number. This is a collector quality Winchester Model Pre-64 Model 70.
