This is a very difficult Savage Model 1899 to find. One of the few rifles ever made with a 1/2 round, 1/2 ocatagon barrel - and in caliber .38-55. Condition as per the photos. Bore would rate about good - strong lands and grooves but a bit dark. Priced to sell.
