WW2 GERMAN MAUSER K98K ERMA PRODUCTION S/27 1938 DATE 8MM INFANTRY CARBINE. Excellent early and scarce example all original and matching except the bolt which is probably a wartime replacement in the same nice condition. Excellent markings with large pre war Nazi Army Ordnance “EAGLE” stamps on barrel and receiver on left side and three “EAGLE/SWAZDIKA/77” stamps on the right side of receiver. Small Nazi Waffenampts stamps on barrel, floor plate, trigger guard/magazine assembly tang and butt plate. Stock with “H” and Waffenampt stamp on butt and matching serial number stamp on belly of stock. Rear sight base with post WW2 surplus export “GERMANY” stamp on left side. Excellent overall with the original blue showing light use. Matching stock and handguard with the original finish. Working order and excellent bore. No importer stamps. Extra nice early K98k.
