Description:
"Dated 1862. 58 caliber with a 40" barrel. This gun is in “attic" condition with a dark brown, almost black patina on metal. Wood shows numbers nicks and dings. There is a wire wrap, period repair on the wrist. Action works well and functions properly. This is a civil war musket that looks like it was right out there in the middle of the war. The repair to the wrist is period and is very stable.
