This Stevens tip-up rifle has an overall length of approx.38.5"" The 24"" part octagon/part round has a good bore with erosion toward the chamber and strong rifling. The caliber is unmarked but appears to be 25 Stevens Long Rimfire. The blued parts retain approx. 95% of an old reblue (over light pitting in some areas). The iron frame is bright with no evidence of its original nickel plating. It is equipped with the standard front and rear sights and a tang sight. The stock is fine overall with little wear but with an excellent repair at the toe. The action functions correctly. This is a nice looking representative example of the Stevens tip-up rifle.
