Description:
Weatherby First Lite 270 Weatherby Magnum. Like new no longer made in the Mark 5 and a tack driver in its original box. It has a 26 inch flutted and weighs 8 1/2 pounds without a scope. I fired the rifle a total 15 rounds with different loads carefull not to make the barrel too hot and cleaning it after every different hand load. It loves 110 grain Barnes and Sierra Pro Hunters shooting 3/8 inch groups at my 80 yard range. This bullet will easily exceed 3500 FPS and is an ideal long range hunting rifle. It surpasis in velocity the 270 and 270 Winchester Short Mognum. This model in the Mark 5 had a short run, still available only in the Vanguard model. Shipping $59.00 in iys original box with outer box to keep it safe. The scope, rings and bases do not come with the rifle.
