Description:
Factory Master Engraved R. Risack Signed Belgian Browning Pointer Grade Superposed Shotgun 28” Cased. SN: 77865
Manufactured in 1960. Dual white bead sights on the Broadway style matte vent rib, standard markings on the barrels, 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and installed choke tubes (3 Skeet chokes included). Coin gray action with a single gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch. The action is engraved in the Pointer Grade pattern with flowing scroll designs surrounding pointer dog and bird scenes with a dog and pheasant on the right, a dog and duck on the left, a pair of quail on the trigger plate, and a pair of pheasants on the trigger guard. The left scene is signed "R. RISACK". Checkered forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with engraved fittings and vented Pachmayr recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .727/.729; minimum wall thickness .029/.028; drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches. Weight 7lb 6oz. SportLock case.
CONDITION: Excellent, 98% of the blue finish remains on the barrels. The action has 98% original finish, well defined engraving. The wood is excellent with no dings or scratches, one small compression mark on the right side behind receiver, and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.br>
