We offer you a “GORGEOUS” Smith & Wesson Model 27-2 “The .357 Magnum” double action revolver. This is a “Skeeter” version with the 5” barrel. This is a 3T’s gun with the Target Trigger, Target Hammer and Target Grips. It is in the original serial number matching box and was manufactured right around 1977. Skeeter Skelton considered the Model 27 with a 5-inch barrel as the best all-around handgun.
The serial number on the gun is N332048 which makes the production year right around 1977. The left side of the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON" and the right side is marked "S. & W. .357 MAGNUM". The yoke cut is marked "N332048 / MOD. 27-2" and the yoke is marked "68781 / D15" with a "2" marked on the cylinder face. On the left side of the grip frame is marked "D15 / 68781 / TK". The underside of the grip frame is marked "N332048 ". The right side of the grip frame is marked with a "X" inside a box "5459" and a "A" inside a circle. There is a large S&W logo on the right side plate and the four line “Marcas Registradas” address on the right side of the frame. Being a dash-2 version it has the pinned barrel and recessed chambers. It is a 3T's gun with the target hammer, target trigger and target grips. The grips are in pristine condition with no signs of use or wear from storage. The bluing is in the same condition with a very faint cylinder line. The top and bottom of the box are both in excellent condition with all corners intact. Inside the serial number matching box is the S&W protective paper, 1977 dated original manual, intact warranty card, S&W holster guide, S&W ammunition brochure and S&W authorized warranty center sheet. We have shown the complete package in the pictures for your consideration.
