Savage model 99 R, 250 Savage caliber. Made in 1950. 24 inch barrel, open sights. Brass rotary magazine, case hardened lever. Drilled and tapped for scope mount bases.
Bore is excellent.
Please see last 2 pictures. Stock looks to have been sanded on the right side, presumable to smooth out a chip in the wood. Sock is not broken or cracked.
