WTS: very rare AC44 FN slide P38 assembled by Mauser in 1945. All matching numbers, 95% condition user all. Very rare WW2 P38 varient less than 4,000 produced total, rarer still all blued finish. FN Leige made parts for the German war effort including a small number of P38 slides and frames. The slides were all marked with a distictive large stack code AC43 or AC44. Some of this limited run of parts were sent to Mauser Oberdorf and assembled into P38s in late 44 and 45. Production was intermitten to stardard Mauser parts consumption. However, the "c" serial block is a confirmed block for Rare FN slide guns. According to Buxton's P38 book most pistols were dual tone or Phospate with a small number all blued as is this one. The original holster has been GI decorated as was common at the time. The GI's name is inside the flap. One correct waa 135 proofed mag. Reduced asking price is $2,195 for the rig plus shipping and insurance. CC add 3.5% pass through fee.
