This Browning "Sweet Sixteen" A-5 S 9XXX 1957 w/a Round Knob, 26 inch Ventilated Barrel, ***_ (ICC) Improved Cylinder Choke, Reddish Brown Buttstock & Forearm & is about perfect w/an original engraved receiver and barrel as I have ever seen. The gun's bluing is abt 98% & the Vent Rib barrel w/front brass bead the same.
The trigger assembly has matching engraving and is set off w/a nice Gold Trigger.The bore is shiney & flawless - like a mirror . The Butstock w/Reddish Walnut is a Round Knob w/perfect wood checkering and the forearm is a matching shade &also has excellent wood carving. The action cycles as normal.
The overal condition suggests to me that the original owner used it very seldom and it had excellent care. I would give this "Sweet Sixteen" an Excellent
NRA rating.. This Browning Sweet Sixteen is for the very discerning Browning Collector.
