Description:
Super custom single shot rifle built by Larry Brace, utilizing a Brookings action. Brookings made a copy of the Hagn action and had to stop manufacturing them when Hagn filed suit. It is in the 416 Rimmed A-Square cartridge. This cartridge was developed by A-Square to duplicate the proformance of the 416 Rigby but with a rimmed case for use in double rifles and single shot rifles. Loading data for this caliber is in the A-Square manual, Any Shot You Want. Two firms chamber double rifles for it.
This rifle features a 28 inch barrel. a case colored action, grip cap and Talley rings. . It has an island rear sight with one standing and one folding sight. The front sight is an express sight with an ivory bead which folds up for use over the standard daytime sight. The scope is a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5x5 with duplex reticle.
The stock is an exception piece of Amercian walnut with a 13.75" length of pull over a leather covered recoil pad.
It is marked Larry Brace No. 163.
It comes with dies, cases and some A-Square ammo.
