The item for sale is a Savage Model 99 Take-down chambered for the 30-30 cartridge.. The rifle is in high condition. The Model F with the 22" barrel was considered a light-weight, saddle gun or brush gun. It is scarce in the 30-30 caliber as the Savage sales department pushed the Savage cartridges 303 Savage, 300 Savage, 250 Savage and the 22 high power. The wood is excellent as is the blue (90-95%). The lever still shows nice case colors. The bore rates very good. The original butt plate still has 95% blue. We ship via USPS registered mail fully insured.
