1949 SMITH & WESSON K38 OR K-38 TARGET MASTERPIECE PRE 14 .38 SPECIAL 6" BLUE REVOLVER. Serial number "K781XX" and all matching except grips which are later S&W Medallions oversized but fit perfectly. Factory wide rib correct for early 1949 transition from earlier narrow rib(to add weight forward). Five screw frame with excellent screws. 97% original factory blue with balance at edges and muzzle. Mint bore, rifling and chambers. Case colors still on hammer and trigger. Factory adjustable rear sight and front partridge. Functions perfectly.
