Description:
An early (4 digit serial number) Marlin Model 1893 Carbine in caliber .32 Special. Marked Marlin Safety Model on top of receiver and Model 93 on top tang, designed for smokeless loads and marked as such on barrel. Carbine appears to have the original sights front and rear. This is a nice original carbine, with an excellent chamber and very good to excellent bore. Wood is solid and wood finish is original. Lots of blue on the barrel and magazine tube. Original case color has faded to a nice patina. Screws not buggered. Just a very nice honest carbine that has been very well taken care of - after all it is over 100 years old and we do wish it could talk.....
