Description:
This is an extremely rare 20 gauge LC Smith 2E Grade ejector gun with straight grip stock...The 28" Armory Steel barrels are equipped with two ivory beads and are choked ic and mod... 2 3/4 chambers, with bright shiny bores...There is some light pitting residue in front of the chambers in the left barrel. It extends up the barrel for about eight inches...Automatic ejectors function as they should...Crisp double triggers, with strong, precise hammer falls...Straight grip stock, with 14" length of pull over butt plate...Weighs just 6 1/4 pounds...Serial #56xxe, made circa 1910...Barrels and wood have been flawlessly refinished by a master gunsmith...Research reveals that this is one of only about 400 LC Smith Grade 2 guns made in 20 gauge...Of that total, only about 200 were made with 28" barrels...And of that number, only about 10% were made with automatic ejectors and a straight grip stock...Making this an extremely rare LC Smith, in excellent refurbished condition...
