Description:
M1 Garand produced in late February 1945 with original finish and barrel dated 12-44. The barrel T. E. is 3. This rifle is all correct to the best of my knowledge. It originally came from the CMP in the late '90's. The stock is a matching SA/NFR in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. The following is a list of parts on this rifle: bolt is a -19SA, bullet guide is stamped, clip latch has a round front, follower arm has a single bevel, follower slide is revision 12, follower rod is a long fork and riveted, gas cylinder is wide base with flat top on rear, cylinder lock is rounded top and chamfered, cylinder lock screw is poppet type marked P O, hammer is a -8SA, safety is SA-11, lower band is a milled flat profile, op rod is a 9 SA flat side not modified, rear sight is a long pinion with a type lll lock bar, trigger guard is stamped with a -14-SA small pad trigger housing. It also has a period correct canvas sling dated 1944. If you would like additional pictures or information please let me know.
