Description:
This is a new custom rifle built in New Hampshire by White Mountains Firearms (a licensed ATF manufacturer). From 2008 through 2018, White Mountains Firearms custom built
AR 15 platform rifles and carbines to the individual specifications required by regional law enforcement agencies and personnel, as well as military contractors, military personnel and private competition shooters and collectors. This gun was part of our 10th Mountain Division series and is patterned after the Windham Weaponry VEX competition target rifle, with some added custom features. It is chambered in .223WYLDE, so will accurately shoot and chamber both .223Remington as well as 5.56NATO rounds. The barrel is fluted, 18" long, machined from precision 416R stainless steel, and has a 1:8" RH twist rate. The stock and forearm are A2 platform dimensions, made of laminated wood which is resistant to warping and checking. The flash hider is custom, shop made as is the "knuckle duster" pistol grip. The gas block has a folding A2 front sight with bayonet lug. The charging handle is the BCM Gunfighter manufactured by VLTOR, with extended release lever. Both upper and lower receivers are milled...not forged or cast, the upper is a flattop with integral picatinny rail and the lower has the M4 cut feed ramps. While the lower selector positions are engraved "SAFE-SEMI-FULL", this firearm was built as a semi-auto only. I sold White Mountains Firearms in 2018 and saved several firearms for my personal collection. This is one of those guns. Other than the original 10 round function test undertaken when this gun was built, it has never been fired. It ships with one 20 rd. magazine. There is no rear sight, sling, box or other accessories included. These guns are as accurate as they are good looking. This is truly a one of a kind, custom shop built AR 15.
