This is a very scarce Squareback Colt 1st Model Dragoon with the extremely sought after and difficult to find "US Dragoons" cylinder scene. This example shows a lot of the original cylinder scene. This is a Civilian model rather then a Martially inspected example. The grips show some of the original varnish remaining. The brass shows a good patina. The overall gun shows a beautiful untouched patina appearance. This gun was well cared for throughout its life. The bore is very good. All matching serial numbers visible.
