The HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON, "DEFENDER 38", 5 shot, top break double action revolver, chambered for the .38 S&W cartridge, was built on the "SPORTSMAN" design. It has a 4 inch barrel, and a one piece, black nylon grips. The sights are fully adjustable with gold bead inserted in the front blade. It has an auto ejection feature. This revolver was manufactured during World War II for the civilian market. Made in the USA 1943/44. .38 S&W
