Description:
This is a Colt SAA with a 4.75 inch barrel. It's a .45 cal with about 40% original nickel. This one has never seen a buffing wheel...thank goodness. I called colt for a letter and was told it was sent to Kansas City in 1884 which is pretty early for that barrel length. Sorry but I didn't write down the company to which it was lettered, but when the letter comes, I will forward it to you.
Action is correct and tight. Bore is about how you would expect for a black powder sent to a big cow town like KC in the mid 1880s.
