Description:
A fine London made back action lock percussion 12 gauge double barrel shotgun by Dickson. The barrels are damascus twist. The mounts are nicely engraved German silver, and include a cap box on the underside of the stock. The trigger guard is over sized, probably for winter hunting to accommodate gloves. There are bands of silver and gold at the breech. There is a very nicely done old brass band repair at the wrist. There are a couple of small dents in the left barrel a few inches back from the muzzle. The action is good and strong and the entire gun shows a good honest untouched age patina.
