Sold #6263 F.lli Piotti BSEE 12 Ga 2 ¾” double triggers , ejector.
Number 1 of a pair. Weight is 6 pounds 8oz.
Made in 1972 for Wirnhier Jagd , a retailer north of Hamburg Germany. 27” tubes with fitted lumps, .728 bores with .012” (SK2) and .020 (MOD) constriction. Bores and chambers are mirror finish, blacking has a couple light hunting rashes and remains in 95% original condition. Flat rib. Scalloped receiver with 30% scroll engraving coverage, Purdey flat bolt, bushed strikers, manual safety. Tight as a Swiss bank vault. 15 5/8” LOP over a 1” black plate. Drop is 1 ½” and 2 ½” , cast off ¼”. Semi beaver tail forend with Deeley release and southgate ejectors. The wood and checkering are in 90% condition with light handling marks. An early Piotti production, without some of the best gun attribute found on the more recent BSEE, but nevertheless a very well put together shotgun.
