Description:
~Smith & Wesson Model 59 9mm semi-automatic dated between 1977 and 1978. The Model 59 is a double-action semi-automatic with a black finished alloy frame, blued steel upper assembly, black nylon grips, manual thumb safety, and magazine safety. This historic semi-automatic is widely seen to be the first American double-action semi-automatic pistol. This Model 59 has seen medium-heavy wear and usage, with scratches and blemishes in much of the blued finish of the slide and the black finish of the frame. There is a small amount of rust underneath the rear sight and around the grip screws. There is a lot of finish chipped off around the slide catch pin on the right side. There is no cracks in the grips, although the scratches and wear is consistent with the rest of this firearm. One 15 round magazine is included. This is an awesome classic that would be great as a shooter or for personal use. Please refer to the photos before purchasing. No handgun sales in MA.
