Sold Pending Funds - RARE KING GUNSIGHT COMPANY EXAMPLE in .22 LR! 1936 King Super Target Colt Official Police 22 with Jeweled Hammer, Trigger and Main Spring with custom hand filed target Sanderson stocks. The Colt Collectors Association’s publication, The Rampant Colt is currently working on a feature article on King. This Official Police received the fabled King treatment with the King Super Target ventilated rib including mirrored front sight, and some beautiful machine jeweling on the hammer, trigger, and main spring. The first ventilated rib for Colt - a concept that Colt eventually took up and used for the Python years later. Beautiful hand checkered Sanderson American black walnut target stocks with the coveted thumb rest. This was in a special 1-gun shipment as recorded in the included factory letter.
This target gun exhibits all of the details, fit and finish that made the Colt Pre-War double action renowned for their build and accuracy. The action is crisp, the lock up is tight, the bolt drops ½ way into the grooves on all 6, endshake is absent, and the bore has strong rifling and a 9/10 surface. The original factory finish has evidence of careful usage and collector type markings associated with a well-cared for 85 year old firearm along with finish thinning and light high edge wear. Stampings and letterings are all very crisp.

Shipping to AK or HI will have additional costs for which buyer is responsible. I will need a copy of an FFL dealer license or C&R with copy of Drivers License to ship the gun. There is a 3 day, no-shoot, no disassembly inspection period and the buyer is responsible for cost of shipping both ways if returned and it is required that the same original received packaging and materials be used for the return. If your FFL dealer will not accept shipment from an individual, I will need an additional $55 to ship through my local FFL
