Offered for is a rather rare example of a Remington New Model Navy conversion revolver in .38 Colt center fire caliber. There were only 1000 of these guns converted and issued to the Navy. The serial number on this gun is 27836 and the conversion number is 531. This gun is in overall very good antique condition, bluing turned grey, some light pitting, good bore, excellent mechanical condition, the grips are good with no cracks and only minor shrinkage, the stamps on the top of the barrel are worn and rather light but still legible. This item comes with a black leather reproduction flap holster in excellent condition. SHIPPING AND INSURANCE ARE FREE FOR THIS ITEM.
