Description:
This a a one of a kind mint example of a WWI Mauser broomhandle pistol, made for Imperial German army around 1916. What is unusual about this gun is that it falls in the "Red 9" range of WWI guns that were procured by Prussia and had a Prussian eagle on the front of the magazine well. Except that this gun is chambered in 7,63 Mauser! There is no evidence of resleeving and the gun appears in all original near mint condition, with all matching parts(including grips), excellent bore and grips, and original fire blue still present on the small parts. All the markings are sharp.
The only wear is on the tips of the rails and on the rear strap from attaching the stock. The original WWI stock is in fantastic shape with no cracks but is not numbered to the gun. The original harness is excellent as well with 1916 date and a maker mark.
A rare unusual variation that cannot be upgraded!
