This is a super scarce special order Walther PPK/S made around 1982 in France by Manurhin. The gun is "as new in the box" unfired example in very uncommon .22 caliber and in even less common hard chrome "duraguard" finish - similar to Walther "Nivel" finish. Although duraguard finish guns can be found in .380 cal, this is the first one that I had seen in 20 years in .22LR! The gun alos has special order features, such as checkered grip straps. The gun is complete with 2 mags, and all the paperwork, including a matching test target, cleaning rod, a cellophane storage bag and a matching serial numbered box. Given that the serial number is unusual- 140000 even, it is possible that only one such gun was made as a presentation example in this finish and with special order features. The gun looks new with no evidence of cycling or firing. This is probably the rarest of all the PPK/S variants and cannot be upgraded!
