The receiver shows strong coloring, and the action is smooth and fully functional. The lever and trigger are tight with no wobble, and the loading gate spring remains strong. The screw-heads are clean. The bore is bright and sharp with no discernable rust. The butt-stock and fore-stock have the original finish but show dings and marks consistent with 127 years of use. There is round plugged place on the bottom of the butt-stock as shown in the photos. The wood has the original finish.
