This pre-'64 Model 70 Standard left the factory in late 1949 and shows wear typical of most field guns of this vintage. .30-06 Springfield

Curio/Relic: Yes
Metal Condition: "Finish remains fair, overall. Shows thin finish along the top of the barrel, suggesting it rode along in a truck rack. Just to clarify for you younger folks, yes, there were indeed truck racks.
Wood Condition: "Shows good condition, overall, with a couple of dings and light handling marks.
Bore Condition: Clean with sharp lands.
Barrels: 24" with integral front sight ramp and folding rear sight atop the barrel boss.
Stock Dimensions:
13 1/2" LOP
Butt Pad: Factory steel plate.
Weight: 8 lb. 10 oz.
Sights: Fixed power Bushnell Sportview with Duplex Reticle atop 1" Weaver Pivot Mounts. Stamps are obscured by the scope rings. Likely 4 power.
