Up for sale is a gorgeous custom rifle built by Larry Brace. This custom is built off a pre-64 Winchester model 70 action. The barrel is a 22” Douglass Premium light contour chambered in .257 Roberts Ackley Improved. Both the Bolt and Magazine are engine turned (Jeweled). All the metalwork was Rust Blued and remains in near mint condition. The stock is 3X English Walnut with fleur-de-lis checkering cut at 24 lines per inch. The skeleton grip cap is also cut the same. Also included with the sale is a couple pieces of once-fired brass and Reading dies. This rifle has seen zero field use and spent its entire life in a gun safe. Larry Brace rifles are highly sought after in their community and this is a pristine example of such. There are limited collector type handling marks only on this gun. Pictures tell the story.
