Engraved 6" Colt Pocket Revolver
New price includes shipping within lower 48 states.
This revolver was mfd in 1853, S/N 59664 all matching numbers. Barrel blue is turning plum on left side. Right side of barrel and cylinder have about 90+% of blue remaining. Cylinder scene is clear and crisp with trace of the typical track mark toward rear of cylinder.Grip is near perfect with a small rub spot bottom of right grip. Frame, recoil shield and hammer retain much of muted case colors. Back strap and trigger guard retain 95% of silver with some slight tarnishing.
This is a mechanically sound and beautiful example of Colt firearm engraving. Rare, seldom seen engraving on muzzle end of barrel suggests special order probably between #2 and deluxe.
