Super rare 8 ga. loading tube by James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, England. This is a Barclay's patent of 1873 loader. Shown in all the Dixon catalogs it is nearly impossible to find in this size. This one has been shortened about 1/4", probably to use with trimmed paper cases. The Rosewood knob on the rammer has been replaced and everything else is original.
