Antique Simplex patented loading and closing machine for 12 ga. shotgun shells. Ca. 1890 in England. It is marked "12" on the lever which is rust pitted. The makers name and part number are no longer readable. The Rosewood handles have been replaced and it is all original otherwise. The loading tube has al the wad guide fingers intact along with the original decap pin. This is a very rare tool and hard to find if you are looking to add to your collection.
