Description:
After waiting for over a month for the buyer to send funds which never arrived, this is now available as of 3/25/21. This is one of the best looking replicas of a Colt 1860 Army Revolver that I've ever seen.  Standard .44 Caliber Percussion with 6 shot cylinder.  Features include the 4 screw frame with the cuts for a shoulder stock and the extra wide-4th screw for mounting the stock.  MFD by ASM and the date code indicates the year 2003.  It has all of the black powder and maker info located discretely underneath the loading lever...not down the side of the barrel or across the frame like you find on many of the Italian Repros.  The frame, hammer, and loading lever have Genuine bone-charcoal case colors just like the original Colts back in the 1800's..and the colors are fantastic compared most replicas I've seen.  It even has real fire blued screws just like the originals which is something you won't even find on Colt 2nd and 3rd Gens.  The action feels nice and smooth so it won't need $150 dollars worth of gunsmith work to smooth it out like the new ones which often feel rough.  This one is Excellent Overall even though it's nearly 20 years old and has been been well taken care of though with no rust, abuse, or anything other than light handling.  You won't find a better looking 1860 reproduction and it will look even better as it ages.  Looks almost identical to an original sans the Colt name....just like what Union Cavalrymen carried during the Civil War.  No disappointments with this one. It is gorgeous!  Antique Percussion Reproduction are considered Antiques under Federal Law and do not require an FFL in most places.   Most black powder firearms can ship directly to the individual, unless your local state laws prohibit it (includes: IL, MI, HI,NJ,NY, MA,DC)  Please check state and local laws before ordering a black powder firearm. Buyer must be 21 years of age and a legal law-abiding citizen of the United States.  Sorry, no international sales.  $20.00 shipping via USPS Priority Mail in Lower 48 States.
