Description:
~Remington Rolling Block 20ga single shot shotgun. This shotgun is a rare and desirable Rolling Block shotgun built by Remington, and various other companies. This specific gun is marked by Remington, and retains its original finish and furniture. The stock has a small fracture on the left side of the grip, as shown, however it appears stable. The finish has some wear in areas and patina, and the bore is lightly pitted. The action is solid and operates properly, however an aftermarket/handmade firing pin creates some sticky-ness in the action at times, but it can likely be loosened up easily. Overall this an excellent example of a scarce Remington Rolling Block shotgun, ready for restoration or collection! Please note, our research indicates that these shotguns were designed for black powder charges only. A gunsmiths' inspection is recommended prior to use.
