Description:
~Polish Radom WZ29 Short Rifle bolt action rifle, chambered in 8mm Mauser. This rifle features a Mauser bolt action design, and in fact was designed to closely replicate the German K98k rifle. This particular rifle made in 1934 prior to the German occupation, yet has some very small waffenamt stamps, which may indicate German capture. The rifle has been sporterized, and fit in to a rather nice Bishop walnut stock with a beautifully carved ghost-line cheekpiece, fitted with a rear diopter and front sight. The rifle has evidence of old surface rust that has been removed, and thus the finish is speckled, along with the bolt. However, the rifle is in good working order, with a smooth action and a great bore. The rifle does not have a grip cap, as shown. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the rifle. This would make a great project for a custom builder or gunsmith!
