ORIGINAL FRENCH PERCUSSION BRASS BARREL BLUNDERBUSS SIGNED LE PROJI CIRCA 1830’S-40’S. 31” o/a with 16” brass round barrel with 2” bore diameter at the muzzle and barrel maker stamped with a large “G” at the left breech along with a small “P” proof adjacent to it. Lock engraved in a floral spray “LE PROJI”. Very handsome brass barrel with nicely done decorative banding at the muzzle. Walnut stock with brass mounts and “FLEUR-DE-LIS” shaped brass lock screw ferule and with the original finish. Old hairline on left butt. Original sling swivels. All original and very good to fine with the original patinated finish overall. Lock in working order and excellent bore. Original steel ramrod.
