This rifle weighs 7 lbs. 12 oz without the scope and 8 lbs. 7.7 oz with the scope. This Rifle and Scope are in as new condition, the rifle has been shot perhaps 30 rounds. I also have 13 rounds of Remington 400 grain Barnes Solids and one full box of Federal 400 Grain Nosler Partitions and 17 rounds in a second box. ( Ammo is not included in the purchase price of the rifle & scope but is available for a very fair price). This rifle is a joy to shoot, the factory HS Precision Stock has excellent dimensions and a great recoil pad. I purchased this rifle back in 2000 anticipating a bear hunt in Alaska in 2001 and then the World Trade Centers were struck and ended my plans.
