"Stocking & Company Pepperbox with cocking spur. Manufactured 1840’s-1850’s. Caliber .28. Six shot. Barrels marked “Stocking & Co. Worchester Warranted cast steel" with eagle head. Barrel length 4". Engraved frame and nipple shield. Trigger guard has a spurred bow. Grips are very good. No chips or nicks. Action works perfectly. No rust, no pits. This is a fine example of a scarce Stocking Pepperbox.
