"Maynard 1st Model Carbine. Excellent condition. These guns are generally found in rather rough condition. This gun has original blue on the barrel. The frame still has traces of case colors. Tang sight is original. Wood is very good. There is a chip at the toe that happened during the period of use. Bore is excellent and action is tight. All markings are very sharp. Inside the patchbox is actually the original label.. Very nice gun in exceptional condition for how you normally see these.
