Payment Types Accepted: cash, check, money order Description: WOW!   This is one 1849 Pocket missing in just about everyone's collection. A real 3" 6shot revolver with factory letter. Only about 400 3" guns were ever produced and very few survived. Mostly because the loading lever was so short and they broke most of the time. This revolver, serial no. 183882 is one of only 5 (6) shot 3" revolvers ever made. Only three are known, and this is the second oldest 6 shot Pocket 1849 Colt known.! THAT'S SPECIAL!!.  Going from 5 shots to 6 shots was a big deal when needed. The revolver is in good condition with no original finish remaining. It has plenty of bumps and dings, but is totally intact and functions well. Revolver was well used and only if it could talk!  Grips have 95% original varnish. Triggerguard and backstrap have 75% original silver remaining. All numbers match including wedge. Cylinder scene is probably 70%. There are a few known 6 shot 3" revolvers that don't have serial numbers on the cylinder, but you could purchase a new cylinder for your old 5 shot revolver.
