Depressing it about 30 degrees cocks the action. The overall length is approx. 47"". The 32"" barrel (2.75"" chamber), choked between modified and full, has a fine, bright bore with light erosion toward the breech. The barrel has much of its original blue that is starting to turn a gray-brown. It is marked on the top at the breech -REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILLION N.Y. U.S.A.-. The barrel, action, and fore end serial numbers match. The action, which has border decorations, is a smooth gray-brown. The stocks are very good with the added Alaskan Indian Tribe carving (see the photos). The Remington butt plate is very good. The action works correctly. This gun is similar to other Alaskan Indian-carved guns (that are older than this example) we have owned. SOLD |
