DUTCH Model 1871/88 Beaumont-Vitali rifle in 11.3mm x 51R. The 32.5-inch barrel is dated 1884 and shows signs of early use black powder fouling/corrosion in the bore. The bore still show strong lands and grooves. The external metal has a brownish patina and appears to be uniform on all the surfaces. The action, bolt, bolt handle, bolt head, magazine follower and the bayonet are all marked 199F. The butt plate is dated 1890. The stock is in good shape with no apparent crack or chips with only minor gouges and impressions. There is a cartouche on the right-hand side of the stock dated 1885. This gun appears to bein very good shape for its age, but it is missing the cleaning rod. This gun is being sold for an estate. Purchaser pays for shipping and insurance. Three-day inspection period applies. This gun MiIGHT have to ship to purchaser’s FFL or C&R holder. Check your state and local laws for restrictions.
