Winchester Winder Musket U.S. and ordnance bomb marked behind the hammer. Rifle is in 22 short caliber. The bore is mirror bright with perfect rifling. The barrel has 98% factory blue. The action works perfectly. The buttstock has some light surface scuffs. Forend is perfect . No scuffs. Rifle comes with a vintage U.S. military sling, probably for a 1903 Springfield. The frame has original blue that is flaking. No rust No pits no abuse, except for the light scuffs previously mentioned. In our experience this rates as very good plus!
