This Winchester Model 70 Featherweight rifle in 270 Winchester caliber is circa 1959. The 22"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. All the metal has approx. 98% of its original finish. The front sight cover and two sling swivels are present. The stock is excellent with sharp cut checkering, minimal wear, and a fine hard rubber buttplate. The action functions correctly. It has never had a scope mounted on it. This is a very nice Winchester Model 70 Featherweight rifle that is ready for shooting or collecting.
